Student Device Contract

Thousands of dollars have been spent this year to provide new devices for students to use in Junior High. Because these devices are brand new, all students will be required to sign a contract for use.

Student Device Contract

The following rules will apply to ALL DEVICE USE at Lincoln Academy: 

1) Students will stay only on approved sites. 

2) Students will not change the settings applied to the computers by the IT Department (this includes changing the keyboard languages, picture backgrounds, position of menu items, brightness, background colors, size of the cursor, etc.).

​3) Students will not write on, deface, remove keys from, or damage computer screen, keyboard, or casing in any way. 

4) Students will NOT use pens, pencils, or other sharp objects on touch screens. Single Finger light touches only. 

5) Students will use devices ONLY AS INSTRUCTED by the teacher. 

6) Students will use only the computer # assigned to him/her during the class period.

Student Device Contract

​Students who are found to have violated any of the above-mentioned policies will be subject to discipline as well as a fine to repair or replace devices as necessary. Further, any student who violates any of the above policies will lose computer privileges in all classes in junior high for the remainder of the school year. 

I have read and understood the above policies and agree to abide by those policies for the remainder of the 2024-25 school year.

Chromebook Assignment

​Each student will have a computer assigned to them to use during class. It is the students responsibility to only use the computer assigned to them and to report any issues they find the machine as soon as possible.
