Uses of the Full Stop
To signify the end of a declarative sentence that has a complete thought.
To indicate the end of abbreviations.

Use of the Comma
To address someone directly
Separate individual elements from each other
To separate clauses joined by a conjunction

To mark the beginning and end of quoted statements.
