Pantai Galesong

Pantai Galesong is located in Makassar, South Sulawesi. It is 10 km away from Losari Beach and you will need 30 minutes by car to reach the place.​ Even though Pantai Galesong is quite close to Pantai Losari, but it is not included in Makassar’s tourism destination. Instead, it is part of the Talakar districts, at desa Sampulungan Galesong to be precise.​

Pantai Galesong is a great choice for family recreation, couples, community or even company gathering, training or celebrating anniversaries. There are many decent facilities such as spacious parking lot, decent guest houses with affordable prices, swimming pool for adults and children, ATV, moto cross, jetski, banana boat, traditional boat, outbond, cafes, etc.​

For tourists who enjoy swimming in the sea could feel the warmth of the water in the morning. Life jacket will be provided there for rental. Visitors can also rent a traditional boat to explore the scenery of Pantai Galesong or even fishing.

Masjid Sultan Suriansyah is a historical mosque. Built 300 years ago, this building is the oldest mosque in South Kalimantan. The mosque is located in the North Kuin Village of Banjarmasin. It was built in the reign of Sultan Suriansyah known as Pangeran SamuderA. He was the first Banjarnese King who converted into Islam. This mosque was found on the bank of the Kuin River, near KampungKraton, which was destroyed by the Dutch colonial.The construction of Masjid Sultan Suriansyah was unique. The roof is layereD. It took the Banjar’s past architecture before Islam came. Different from any other old mosques in Banjar, the mihrab has its own roof, separated from the main building.

​The Panther tends to be dark brown to black in colour and is otherwise identical to the feline species to which it belongs. The only real exception to this is the Florida Panther found in the south east region of the USA, that is believed to be a subspecies of Cougar and is quite rarely dark brown in colour and tends to have more of a speckled appearance.

Unlike Leopards and Jaguars, the Panther has no spots on its long body or tail, but instead has a shiny coat of dark fur. Panthers have small heads with strong jaws and emerald green eyes, and tend to have hind legs that are both larger and slightly longer than those at the front. Being a member of the Big Cat family, the Panther is not only one of the largest felines in the world but it is also able to roar which is something that felines outside of this group are not able to do.

Male panthers are larger than female panthers. They weigh from 100 to 160 pounds; female panthers weigh from 70 to 100 pounds. Panthers vary in height at the shoulder from 24 to 28 inches and measure from 6 to 7.2 feet from nose to tip of the tail.

Tigers are the largest felines in the world. Many cultures consider the tiger to be a symbol of strength and courage. However, because hunting them is also a sign of bravery in some cultures, tigers are endangered; no more than 3,200 tigers are left in the wild.

Tigers have distinctive stripes, which help camouflage them when hunting prey. Some tigers have orange fur with black stripes; others are black with tan stripes, white with tan stripes or all white (albino).

On average, tigers are 1.5 to 2.9 m long and weigh around 75 to 325 kilograms. The largest tigers, the Siberian, also called Amur, are 3.3 meters long and weigh 300 kg. The smallest tiger is the Sumatran tiger. They grow to 1.5 to 3.7 m and weigh around 65 to 305 kg. Tigers also have very long tails, which can add 0.7 to 1.1 m to their overall length.​
