We use connectors when we want to link two or more sentences.
The most commun Connector are:
who
which
that
where.

Who
We use who when we talk about people.
For Example:
Mary is a good student. She gets a good grades every week.
Mary is a good student who gets a good grades every week.

Mary who is a good student, gets a good grades every week.
The connector can be at the begining or middle the two sentences.

Which
This connector we use it when we talk about things or animal.
For Example:
The cat is black.
It only eats fish.
The cat is black which only eats fish.

The cat which is black, only eats fish.
When the connector is at the begining, is necessary use comma.

That
We use "THAT" with people, things or animal.
For Example:
Paul has many work.
He gets up at 5:00 am every day.
Paul has many work that gets up at 5:00 am every day.

Paul that has many work, gets up at 5:00 am every day.
The house has three bedrooms. It is very cheap.
The house has three bedrooms that is very cheap.

The house that has three bedrooms, is very cheap.
In these connectors can say what is the most important topic or the relevant fact.
Most of the time, the second sentences is the principal idea.
