​Where we left off...

• ​Yosef is his father's favorite son, because he was a בן זקונים.

• ​Yaakov even made a special coat for Yosef, a כתנת פסים.

• ​Yosef's brothers were not happy about that he was their father's favorite.

• ​Yosef has two dreams.

  • ​In Yosef's first dream his brothers' bundles of wheat bow to his bundle.

  • ​In Yosef's second dream the sun, the moon & 11 stars bow to Yosef.

• ​The brothers get very jealous and begin hating Yosef.

• ​The brothers eventually sell Yosef as a slave.

א) וְיוֹסֵ֖ף הוּרַ֣ד מִצְרָ֑יְמָה וַיִּקְנֵ֡הוּ פּֽוֹטִיפַר֩ סְרִ֨יס פַּרְעֹ֜ה שַׂ֤ר הַטַּבָּחִים֙ אִ֣ישׁ מִצְרִ֔י מִיַּד֙ הַיִּשְׁמְעֵאלִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֽוֹרִדֻ֖הוּ שָֽׁמָּה​
