Hi kids! Today we are going to learn about verb that ends with -ing​

​First, what is a 'verb'?

​Examples of Verbs:

​Now, read the following examples:

1. ​Eating outside in the summer makes me feel good.

2. ​I love reading in bed.

3. ​I'm thinking of buying a new car.

​

​All of the above verb ends with -ing.

​When do we use Verb + ing?

1. ​As the subject of a sentence, for example:

   1. ​Smoking is bad for you

   2. ​Jogging is good for you

2. ​After some verbs (like, love, hate, enjoy), for example:

   1. ​I hate getting up early.

   2. ​I love playing football.
