1. Why do we need to have a standardized Unit of measurement?
2. What is the first basis of measurement based on what you have watched earlier?

4. Is it needed to learn ACCURATE MEASUREMENT? Why ?

1. English System which originated in England
2. Metric System or Systems International (S.I) which originated in France

FOOT = 12 inches
YARD = 3 feet
ROD = 5.5 yards = 16.5 feet
CHAIN= 4 rods = 66 feet= 100 links
FURLONG = 10 chains = 40 rods = 660 feet
MILE = 8 furlongs = 80 chains =320 rods = 1760 yards = 5280 feet

METER = 100 centimeters
METER = 10 decimeters
1 decameter = 10 meters
1 hectometer = 100 meters
