HOW CAN SHE PREPARE FOR HER JOURNEY TO WORK?

​SHE IS FEELING NERVOUS AND HER FRIEND IS GIVING HER SOME ADVICE. WHAT DO YOU THINK SHE IS SAYING?

​There are a lot of different elements happening on ones first day at work. One of these, is how you behave. Another element is getting to know other co-workers/colleagues.

How can the main character behave well on her first day?

​THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF INFORMATION TO TAKE IN ON YOUR FIRST DAY, BUT YOU ALSO SHOULD ASK SOME QUESTIONS.

​YOU ARE HELPING YOUR VERY FIRST CUSTOMER AND THEY ARE ASKING YOU A LOT OF QUESTIONS YOU DO NOT KNOW THE ANSWERS TO. YOU FEEL NERVOUS. WHAT DO YOU DO?

​There might be many different tasks to learn about on your first day. If for example you work in a shop, you might have to learn how to use the till (if this is something you would be comfortable with)

2. You've made a mistake, which is likely to happen on your first day when you are learning how to use the till. How would you react, what should you do in the situation? 

​Starting a new job can both be exciting and make you feel anxious, there is not 'right' or 'wrong' way to feel about it. It is very personal. Let's look at this character, how dose it look like she feels after her first day?
