When something belongs to a person, we simply put 's after his/her name
A: It's nice bike. Whose bike is it?
B: It's Adnan's bike
A: Whose shirt is it?
B: It's Jasmine's
A: Take this book. It's Sulthan's book
B: No. It is not. It's Barra's book

If we don't want to put names we use possessive adjective
A: It's nice bike. Whose bike is it?
B: It's Adnan's bike. It's his bike.
A: Whose shirt is it?
B: It's Jasmine's. It's her shirt.
A: Take this book. It's Sulthan's book
B: No. It is not. It's Barra and Andrea's book. It's their book.
