​The Maroons

​The first Maroons were the Indigenous People. The Spanish and English gave them labor to do all day in the hot fields. Some slaves were taken from West Africa to Jamaica. Nanny was one of them. She was a queen in her homeland. So she taught the Maroons how to hide and fight. And successfully they succeeded. GO........MAROONS!!!!! And to this day we are celebrating the victory we had.
