Revising Sentences
In this lesson, we will compare a mentor sentence to a revised example and identify what was added or changed, then write our own revision of the mentor sentence. You will need a piece of paper or your ELA journal and a pencil.
What is a mentor sentence? Mentor sentences are examples of good writing. The best mentor sentences are those that clearly illustrate a grammar rule or figurative language element.
You can use mentor sentences to help you with your own writing!
