• ​Images have been used to being edited using digital manipulation.

• ​This influenced people's psychology negatively.

• ​Earlier, photos were usually changed using ink, paint and airbrushes.

• ​Recent development have even made it possible to digitally edit moving pictures, making actors thinner, taller, fatter or smaller.

• ​Making people look slimmer or have bigger eyes bending the truth too much.

• ​Is this acceptable?

• ​It is important to understand the effect of photo manipulation has on people, esp. young people.

• ​Harmless when girls have their hair cut like famous actress

• ​But having plastic surgery to change the shape of their nose is more serious!

• ​The results are pemmanent and health risks are high.

• ​However, some celebrities have started to rebel against photoshopping.

• ​In the UK, British Girl Guide Association asked photoshopped image to be clearly labelled.

• ​This to make people see how fake the media's idea of beauty and perfection.

• ​Appreciate more genuine qualities.
