Evaporation

• The sun heats the ​water changing it into vapor

• ​Vapor goes up in the sky and that process is evaporation

  • ​happens on rivers, dams, lakes, etc.

​Condensatiton

• Vapor cools once it rises and turns into tiny droplets that form clouds

​

​Precipitation

• ​The droplets come together and they become bigger droplets and fall to the ground because of gravity

• This is known as precipitation and this is how rain fall s produced

  • ​If it is even colder that is when sleet or snow are produced in the same process

Collection

• The water falls to the ground and the sun heats it up and the cycle starts over again.

​The route the water follows over the lands surface changing through different stages

​-Evaporation: Water changes into vapor

​-Condensation: The Vapor goes up to the sky, forming clouds

​- Precipitation: The vapor cools forming tiny droplets

​-Collection: The water falls to the ground and the cycle starts over
