The National Motto and Anthem

This means we must all do our part to build a strong nation. James Carrot wrote the motto in 1967.
The National Anthem
The National Anthem: ‘Fair Antigua and Barbuda’ was written by Novelle Richards. The music was composed by Walter Chambers in 1981 for our Independence celebrations. Another song is ‘God Bless Antigua’ by Robert Margetson.

The Coat of Arms of Antigua and Barbuda bears our National Motto. It was made in 1966 by Gordon Christopher.
