Doctors are the people we go to whenever we are sick. They are the ones who help treat our illness and injuries. But what if it is our pet at home and not us, who needs medical attention? To whom do you think we can go to?

14

Thank You, Vet

My father came home one day,

Excited to show what he has for me,

He asked me to open the big brown box,

I was surprised to see a bunny so cute and adorable!

15

Vanilla is the name I have given him,

For his fur is pure white and really nice.

I made a pledge to take care of him so well,

To make him grow and become a lovely pet.

16

He suddenly behaves so differently one day,

Not wanting to swallow anything at all.

He did not seem strong and lacked energy.

I felt so worried that he might be sick.

17

A doctor for a bunny? Could there be one?

“Yes,” my father said and helped me search for a veterinarian.

We can call them vet for short,

They can take care of animals that are sick, injured, or crippled.

18

“Dear Doctor, please help my Vanilla,” I pleaded.

He injected some medicine and gave him what was needed.

Two days after, he was active again!

Oh yes, Vanilla has recovered from sickness.

19

I am happy to have met a doctor for pets.

A good and helpful pet, I will never forget.

Thank you, dear doctor, for treating Vanilla,

For showing care for animals and making them well.
