Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village (at Bethany, near Jerusalem) where a woman named Martha opened her home to him (Luke 10:38).

Martha worried about what Jesus would say if she did not prepare the perfect service. But Jesus said that Mary has chosen the best part that is listening to God’s Word (Matthew 6:33).
