Before you begin, write a love letter to whatever art you are interested in at the moment ( 40 words ).

Then write a break up letter to a type of art you don't enjoy and don't want to do for now ( 20 words ).

​Is the color of night shadows water and sky it can make you feel cool quiet and sometimes sad. Very bright colors, yellows and reds can make you think of fast racing cars speeding around a 赛道. Mixtures of light and dark green can make you think of the 丛林 with deep shadows and 溅 of sunlight. Red purple and orange are colors for fire war and being angry. They can also be the colors for 日落 and leaves in autumn. Patterns and the way things feel or 纹理 also tell us things. Artists use all of these things to explain to people their special feelings. ​The Flat side of the house or box shows the same amount of 阴影 all over. Another side may be darker or lighter but it will also be the same all over, unless there is a reflection or shadow.  Flat sided things are lighter when they face the light they become darker as they turn away from the light. The big changes happen at the 角落 where one flat side makes another flat side. Flat sides are called planes. this is a practice lesson in 观察.
