​At the end of our lesson, we will be able to:

• ​use synonyms and antonyms in creating sentences to make it interesting; and

• ​demonstrate understanding of synonyms and antonyms in active learning.

​Synonyms

​Synonyms are pairs of words with similar or the same meaning.

Examples:

Antonyms

​Antonyms are pairs of words with opposite or different meaning.

Examples:

1. happy - sad

3. loud - quiet
