ความผิดพลาด

เรื่องรูปคำกริยา (verb form) อาจเป็นเรื่องใดเรื่องหนึ่ง ดังต่อไปนี้

2.1  Tenses   คือการแสดงเวลาของการกระทำ ในภาษาอังกฤษมีทั้งหมด 12 Tense

2.2  Subjects – verb agreement  การใช้คำกริยา ประธานและกริยาต้องสอดคล้องกัน

2.3  Finite or non-finite verb      กริยาแท้และกริยาช่วยของประโยค

2.4  ใช้voice ผิด ได้แก่ Active Voice หมายถึง รูปกริยาซึ่งประธานเป็นผู้กระทำหรือแสดงกริยานั้น โดยตรง Passive Voice หมายถึง รูปกริยาซึ่งประธานเป็นผู้ถูกกระทำกริยานั้นโดยผู้อื่น

2.5  ใช้คำกริยาผิดรูป เช่นใช้รูป v.2 แทน v.3 หรือในทางกลับกัน

รูปคำ (word form) เป็นเรื่อง การใช้ part of speech ผิดที่หรือผิดชนิด

คือใช้ adjective แทนที่ adverb, ใช้ noun แทนที่ verb เป็นต้น  ซึ่งคำที่ถูกและคำที่ผิดนั้นจะมาจากรากศัพท์ คำเดียวกัน

​​ Parallelism คือ ใช้คำผิดชนิดหรือโครงสร้างจากสมาชิกอื่นๆในกลุ่มของมัน
