The tools we use to make work easier, quicker and safer are called machines. Machines make work easier by reducing the amount of force or effort it takes to move an object or load.

Simple Machines
Machines have two categories. Those need no electrical power to operate and have few parts are called simple machines.

What are Simple Machines?
A machine with few or no moving parts that is used to make work easier (provides a mechanical advantage). For example, a wedge, wheel and axle, lever, inclined plane, screw, or pulley.

Complex machines
Complex machines help us to accomplish challenging or high risk task much easier.
