2
The human body is important. It is composed of the major organs that work together to make the body function properly.

What are the major organs of our body?
4
Open Ended
What parts of your body do you use in doing different actions like clapping, standing, bending, and others?
5
Our body is composed of a complete set of organs working together to form systems.
Each body system has a particular function to perform and one of them is the Skeletal System which acts as the framework of our body.
However, the bones are covered with fleshy, meaty tissues that contract and relax allowing movement in the body. These tissues are called Muscles. There are about 600 muscles in the body that make up the muscular system.

It is the internal framework of the human body?

SKELETON
The human skeleton is the internal framework of the human body. It is composed of around 270 bones at birth – this total decreases to around 206 bones by adulthood after some bones get fused. The bone mass in the skeleton reaches maximum density around age 21.
The human skeleton can be divided into the axial skeleton and the appendicular skeleton. The axial skeleton is formed by the vertebral column, the rib cage, the skull, and other associated bones. The appendicular skeleton, which is attached to the axial skeleton, is formed by the shoulder girdle, the pelvic girdle, and the bones of the upper and lower limbs.
8
SKULL
The skull is a bony structure that forms the head in vertebrates.
It supports the structures of the face and provides a protective cavity for the brain.
9
RIB CAGE
The rib cage is the arrangement of ribs attached to the vertebral column and sternum in the thorax of most vertebrates, that encloses and protects the heart and lungs.
10
HIP BONE
Each hip bone is connected to the corresponding femur (thigh bone) (forming the primary connection between the bones of the lower limb and the axial skeleton) through the large ball and socket joint of the hip.
11
BACKBONE
The backbone is the vertebral column of a vertebrate. The vertebral column, also known as the backbone or spine
12
The Muscular System
Muscles are all over our bodies. Muscles give shape and form to the body, help the bones move, and protect the delicate organs and body parts as pads. Muscles are attached to bones using tendons. When the muscles contract, it pulls the tendons, and the tendons pull the bones. This is how the bones in the body move. We can make the muscles move the part of the body we want to move. These are the voluntary muscles. They can be consciously controlled. On the other hand, some muscles make other parts of the body move without our control. These muscles that we cannot consciously control are called involuntary.
