El presente continuo esta formado por el verbo auxiliar "to be" y un verbo termindo en -ing.

Por ejemplo:

affirmative

sujeto + aux. to be + -ing verb

I am working

Negative

subject + aux. to be + not + -ing verb

I am not working

Questions

Aux. to be + subject + -ing verb

Usamos el presente continuo. 1. cuando una persona esta haciendo algo en el momento.

Por ejemplo:

My dada is working now.

Shaila is taking a shower.

Anna and Pete are dancing.

We are eating ice cream

. It is raining.

2. cuando algo esta ocurriendo en este momento. Por ejemplo: It is raining.

3. para hablar de algo que esta ocurriendo alrededor de momento del habla, pero no necesariamnente en el momento del habla. Por ejemplo: I am reading a book. I am studying a lot for my english exam.
