The first step is to calculate the range. The numbers were 5, 7, 2, 5, 6, 6.
The formula for range is Biggest - Smallest = range.
In this case: 7 - 2 = 5 (range)

You should start off by choosing a good bar number. Usually you should pick some numbers like 3 - 7. But sometimes if the range number gets funky you can change it a tiny bit for example: 99 = 100
Then divide the range with your number of bars you picked.
For example: 100 ÷ 4 = 5 (interval size)
