​Old Vocabulary

​Mean- the average of your data set

​

​Median- the middle number when data set ordered from least to greatest

​

​Mode- the number occuring the most often in the data set

​

​Range- the difference of the largest and smallest number in the data set

​

​IQR- the difference of the third and first quartiles

Range and Interquartile Range Formulas

Range = Maximum # - Minimum #

(Upper Extreme - Lower Extreme)

Interquartile Range (IQR) = Q3 -Q1
