​Years old is optional

You can say​:

​

​I'm 18 years old OR I'm 18.

​

​But: years + old are always together.

​

​I'm 18.

​I'm 18 years.

​I'm 18 years old.

​You can the age as numbers or as words

​I'm 12 years old.

​I'm twelve years old.

​BE CAREFUL

In English we use the verb ​and NOT another verb

​
