Simple Future Tense

The simple future refers to a time later than now or basically something that's going / not going to happen in the future, and expresses facts or certainty.

How to make a simple future statement

• First you need a subject , then add will/shall and then add the verb

• Will/shall is a simple future

• They will attend class tomorrow

Example of Simple Future Tense (positive/ going to happen)

• We shall move to another city.

• ​

• He will come to New York tomorrow.

Example of Simple Future Tense (Negative/ Not going to happen)

• He will not be going to New York tomorrow.

• ​

• We will not be going to the party.

​Smart Tips!

• We can use "will" for most nouns and pronouns

​

• We normally use "shall" for the pronouns we and I only.​
