STEP 1 Brainstorm!
Think about some things that have happened in your life that were important. If you are having trouble, then think about a time when you where 5 years old and you went outside. What did you do? What things were important? Did you have a picnic? Where you alone? Did you have family or friends with you?
Think Of.....
An important time
A fun family event
A memory

STEP 2 Introduction!
Start think about 3 things...
Person
Place
Thing
These things need to be in your introduction paragraph. Also, rember each paragraph is 5 sentences! If you need help please contact your teacher.
Example: I was just waking up in my bedroom at the cabin, when I heard this crazy noise. I walked downstairs and found my mom making pancakes! We where here with my aunt, 3 cousins and of course my 2 sisters, my mom, my dad! All of the sudden, there was a loud thumph.

STEP 3 Body Paragraphs
In your body paragraphs there has to be 5 or more sentences, there should be 3 body paragraph, and there should also be sequence words. You should leave off where you started with your Introduction.
Example 1: After a while, we found out what the loud noise was, it was the heater in the basement falling down onto the cool cement floor. After that, we wanted to swim in the lake. But the doors would not budge, it was weird because it was summer. They used to do that when we where up here in the winter but not ever in the summer. What was going on? I was starting to get the chills.

STEP 3 Body Paragraph
Example 2: When we finally got the doors to open we ran outside, but I tripped on a chair. I thought that it was weird because the chair wasn't there this morning when I looked out the window. Also, no body went outside this morning before us. But I just wanted to swim and no body was going to ruin that!

Step 3 Body Paragraphs
Example 3: While I was running into the water, the girls laughed at me. I was very confused. I guess I had me hair up kind of funny. I started in on the laughter to, but I still was confused. They said, "Your...your...your...HAIR!" I looked up, it was all in a not! I laughed so hard I fell into the water and got all wet, but it was okay! Then, we swam around in the lake. Next, we got called in for lunch. We had sanwiches witch were delisous! Then, we went on a boat ride. But when we where on the boat ride the boat stopped going. I just shrugged but I knew we where stuck...in the middle of the lake!

STEP 4 Conclusion!
In this paragraph, you want to wrap it all up! Make sure to leave the readers on a cliffhanger though!
Example: We had someone come and pick us up from the boat, but I was still scared. What where we going to do with the boat? Will some steal it? Won't we get a fine? What will we do when we get back to the cabin? My mind was racing so fast I couldn't prosses anything anymore. When we got back I asked so many questions and I found out that the boat would be towed back here. But I was still wondering what that sound was...maybe I'll find out next time! THE END!
