The Penguin
The zookeeper watched as the penguin took a waddling jump and gleefully slid down the sheet of ice. She could tell Popper was trilled to be back in his element.
There had recently been a heatwave in the city, so the zookeeper had used a hose to water down the ramp. When she was in the exhibit, she shivered, even though she had on a jacket, gloves, and a woolen hat. The penguin waddled close to her and stood by her side, anxiously awaiting training time. He was hungry after all that playing.
