Defining relative Clauses​

What is a defining relative (szűkítő vonatkozói mellékmondat) clause?

​Some text here about the topic of discussion.

​It is a complex sentence (összetett mondat) divided by a relative pronoun (vonatkozó névmás. It is called defining because it adds necessary information to the sentence.

When to use relative clauses?

to explain what a person or thing ​is or does.

​Use:

1. who for a person.

2. which for a thing.

3. where for a place.​
