Activity 1a: Design and make a survey

Create a short survey using MS Forms and then generate a single data set from the survey responses of the whole class.

This data set will be used in the next lessons to demonstrate data analysis techniques in spreadsheets.

As a group, brainstorm ideas of questions for the survey that the learners will fill in. The questions could be related to the party planned during the previous lesson, personal interests, hobbies, free time, etc.

Part 2: Carry out the survey & generate data

Share a link to the survey throught teams chat and have learners fill out the survey individually to collect the data.

Afterwards, generate a spreadsheet from the responses. You can either do this in class as part of the activity, or at a later time prior to the next lesson.
