It is believed that about 500 years ago it was the origin of surfing, although it is not known with certainty, because there is not a single written document that speaks of its origin.

​Surfing is practiced in the sea because it is a water sport and the best places are those with big waves.

How is it practiced nowadays?

For surfing you don't have to complicate your clothing, what you have to wear is: t-shirts, flannel, shorts and bathing suits. The only thing that is recommended to wear is a special long-sleeved shirt for water.

The Australian Mark Richards known as MR, is the most recognized surfer in the world, he is a surfing legend, he was world champion four consecutive times. And what made him most known was his famous pose with his arms open, recording the flapping of a seagull's wings and for that he was nicknamed "wounded seagull".
