Steps of learning a new language

Starting as a beginner:

The first thing you would need to do when learning a completely random language you don't know anything about is to download some apps to help you start learning the alphabet of the language, some apps that are good for learning basic stuff are drops and duolingo but there are much more.

3

Medium stage:

At this stage you have memorised how to write and prounounce the alphabet correctly. The next step is to start learning the numbers of the language and some basic words such as hello, thank you and how to write them using the alphabet.

4

Intermediate stage:

At this stage you have memorised numbers, the alphabet and some basic words and how to write them now you shoudl start learning about objects around you and the culture of the language. You can do this by watching movies and writing down some words you hear and making a dictionary.

5

Advanced stage:

To know if you are fluent is to read a book in the language your learning and speaking to people normally in that language but there are still some new areas you are picking up on such as formal and slang words. It usually takes people 3 years or more to get to the advanced stage but for polygots who are used to learning new languages it can just take as little as a year. Furthermore, getting to fluency is also faster if the language is similar to languages you can speak.
