The main idea in striking and fielding games is that when you are on the offense, you are striking an object like batting in baseball or kicking a ball in kickball. When you are on the defense, you are fielding an object such as throwing the ball in baseball or kickball.
6
The players can only score on offense by hitting a specific object into an open area and advancing to designated area, like base. Players on the defense will attempt to keep the offense from scoring by catching the object while it is in the air before it hits the ground.
