​Notepad application has editing tools that help us to undo, cut, copy, paste, find and replace any text. The Edit menu provides all these editing options. This editing can be done using mouse clicking as well as keyboard shortcuts.

​UNDO means canceling the previous result. It erases the last change done to the document.

​

CTRL + Z​

​CUT means moving a section of text from a document to the clipboard.

CTRL + X

​COPY means making a copy of text from a document and placing it in the clipboard.

CTRL + C

​PASTE means copying or moving text from the clipboard to the document area.

CTRL + V

​FIND means to look for any text you want to search for in your document.

CTRL + F

​REPLACE means to change any text with the one you want in your document.

CTRL + H
