Direct Objects
Direct Objects are the who/what after the verb.
-They always come after an action verb
-They are always nouns

-Commonly come after these verbs: brought, bough, made, baked, cooked, took, gave, left, offered, borrowed, loaned, taught, showed, wrote, and promised
EXAMPLE: The generous man gave his employees thousand dollar raises.
