Indirect Objects

Indirect objects are the receiver of the direct object

-They always come before the direct object

-They are always a noun/pronoun​

-Commonly come after these verbs: brought, bough, made, baked, cooked, took, gave, left, offered, borrowed, loaned, taught, showed, wrote, and promised ​

​EXAMPLE: The generous man gave his employees thousand dollar raises.

-employees (they received the raises)
