2

To compare and order easier, convert your numbers to the same format

For example: Order 25%, 2/3, 4/5, and 0.37 from greatest to least

Convert all numbers to decimals and then put them in order.

25%=0.25

2/3=0.67 Greatest 0.80, 0.67, 0.37, 0.25 Least

4/5=0.80

0.37=0.37

3

To compare and order easier, convert your numbers to the same format

For example: Order 25%, 2/3, 4/5, and 0.37 from greatest to least

Convert all numbers to percent and then put them in order.

25%=25%

2/3=67% Greatest 80%, 67%, 37%, 25% Least

4/5=80%

0.37=37%

4

Poll

Which do you think is going to be easier to compare these numbers

13%, 1/3, 0.35, 1/4

Convert them all to fractions

Convert them all to decimals

Convert them all to percents

5

Which is going to be easier to compare these numbers

13%, 1/3, 0.35, 1/4

I think converting to percents or decimals would be easier than fractions because the fractions are "benchmark fractions"

(benchmark means the ones we should memorize)

6

Poll

Which do you think is going to be easier to compare these numbers

143%, 14.5, 14/25, 14/100

Convert them all to fractions

Convert them all to decimals

Convert them all to percents

15

Which is going to be easier to compare these numbers

143%, 14.5, 14/25, 14/100

I think converting to Fractions is actually going to be easier on this one because we can make them all have denominators of 100 pretty easily.

16

Multiple Select

We could have also done this one with decimal or percents instead of fractions

143% = 1.43
