Any materials or presentations must be provided at the time of the request.

State Board must approve any party to participate that has not followed these guidelines. ​

Letter to District

Written Letter

After CAP the Charter Director sends a letter to the District notifying them of the decision. The letter also includes the districts approved waivers.

District Invitation

State Board

Districts are invited to attend the State Board of Eduction meeting to answer any questions.

State Board

CAP Decision

Once the CAP has made its decision, the State Board of Education chooses to either review or not review the CAP decision.

State Board Letter

Review or Not Review

A letter detailing whether or not the State Board decide to review the CAP's decision is sent to the district. This lets the district know the decision is final.

Contract

Written Contract

A written Contract is sent to Legal for review which indicates all waivers. This is sent to the district for signature and then is signed by the Secretary of Education.

The contract is then returned to the district and must be posted on the website within 10 days.
