Penjumlahan pecahan dapat dilakukan jika penyebutnya sama. Ubah pecahan menjadi pecahan lain senilai sehingga penyebutnya sama.
Contoh:
2/3 + 1/4 = ...
Langkah penyelesaian
1. Mencari KPK dari 3 dan 4
Kelipatan 3 yaitu 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24,...
Kelipatan 4 yaitu 4. 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, ...
Jadi KPK dari 2 dan 4 adalah 12

Pembahasan:
