Argumentative writing is a type of writing wherein the writer aims at presenting an issue (be it scientific, political, social, etc.) and then taking side or making a stand, which he will have to support by giving proof or evidence.

Although cellphones are allowed in school, we have to take note that learning is not focused because students have the tendency to peek at their phones every now and then thus their concentration is affected. Eventhough monitoring is conducted by the teacher, social media is tempting them to surf or scroll in the internet for topics outside the lesson.
