​Giant Pandas also called panda bear is a mammal that lives in bamboo forest in the mountains of central china. It's striking coat of black and white fur with a round and bulky face gives a captivating appearance to people worldwide.

​Giant Pandas spend most of their time eating and foraging for food. They mostly eat bamboo. But they also eat egg, small animals and carrion.

​What do Giant Pandas eat?

​Giant panda has been listed as vulnerable. Although, they do face threats such as poaching, hunting and habitat destruction.

While there are still some pandas in the wild,many of them are being locked in cages by zoos and centers for tourist attraction.

We have to save the giant pandas because we are the reason their population de​creased. We can help them by volunteering to take care of baby pandas or donate some money .We can also try not to destroy forest, save bamboo forest and plant more trees in order to increase the panda population in the wild.
