Measuring Public Opinion Using Mass Media

Even though mass media is the way people obtain most of their information, it is a very poor way of measuring public opinion.

The main problem with using mass media to measure public opinion is that mass media is privately owned and operated. This means that you are only getting the views of whoever is in charge of that form of mass media and these views are often biased!​
