What is Biztown?
An experience!
You all will get to run a town for half the day! You'll work at a job, get paid "BizBucks," and even vote in elections!
It's located at Discovery High School- about a 10 minute bus ride.

What do we do in our jobs?
Everyone's jobs are a little different. You will be taught how to do your job when we get there. Some jobs are sales and you have to convince people to buy your product. Some jobs are marketing and you get to design advertisements. Some might be bank tellers, or operate the photo booth, or a game.

What is MY job??
You will be given your jobs on March 7th (2 Mondays from now).
Currently, everyone has a job, even if they didn't bring a permission slip. However, if yours is not here by NEXT FRIDAY, you will be removed from the Job List.
You can bring your permission slip as late as the morning of the trip.
7
What about the people who aren't going?
You'll be with another teacher all day (even after we come back) doing classwork.

What are the behavior expectations?
This is supposed to be fun!
You're going to be in groups. I did my best to group you with people you'd get along with. In addition, there will be moments where you can leave your group and hang out with other people.
Of course you can laugh and play. The main rules are: no fighting (hitting OR yelling), no running, and do your best at your job.
10
When do we go?!
MARCH 9TH!!!
Come to school at your regular time, we'll leave after announcements.
You may pull out your phone and put this on your calendar.
