For example: a cube has 6 faces​

1. Start with two opposite faces.​

2. Go around the shape until you have counted all faces.​

A vertex is a point where two or more line segments meet

The plural of vertex is vertices

Vertex

1. Start with the vertices on one side.

2. Count the remaining vertex or vertices.

A line that joins 2 vertices. Where 2 faces of a solid meet.​

For example: a cube has 12 edges​

Edges​

1. Start with the edges on one side.

2. ​Count the edges on the opposite side.
