  • Young fruit-bearing trees can come from many sources.

  • The Bureau of Plant Industry of the Department of Agriculture is one of the government agencies that gives the fruit-bearing tree seedlings, leaflets and other printed materials that will help the fruit growers in their business.

  • We can also buy in private nurseries who sells high value fruit tree seedlings that grow fast and bear more fruits.

Directions:

  1. Choose one​ plant from any of the 3 types of orchard farm plants.

  2. Do research or survey of the plant of your choice or interest. Remember to consider the 3 things in selecting orchard farm plants. (the faster it grows the better for we have limited time for planting).

  3. Prepare a pot of your choice where you can plant. You may use any recycled materials.​ Select the best soil for your plant and do not forget to water them as needed. Organic fertilizer is recommended for your plant. You may create your compost.

  4. Take pictures or videos as you do your task and every day as your plant shows progress.​
