​We use Present Continuous to talk about actions happening at the moment of speaking.

i.e. They are sleeping in this moment.​

(Ellos están durmiendo en este momento)

​​PRESENT CONTINUOUS- NOW

​We also use Present Continuous to talk about actions happening around the moment of speaking, but not precisely right now.

i.e. I am studying Psychology.​

(Yo estoy estudiando Psicología [No precisamente en este momento])

HAVE A LOOK AT THESE EXAMPLES

  1. I am speaking English and French at the same time.

  2. My friends and my cousins are swimming at the pool right now.

  3. Oh my God! The baby is crying too loud​!

  4. My best friend and I are writing a nice book.

  5. Biology Students ​are doing a new research on the evolution of the species.

NOTE:

HOW TO FORM THE SENTENCES USING PRESENT CONTINUOUS?

Well, follow this formula in order to write properly.

Se recomienda hacer la relación de colores para mejor conexión de los elementos en la oración.

PF = Personal Form (sujeto de la oración)​ BW = Basic Word/ auxiliary (auxiliar)​

AW = Action W​ord/ Verb (Acción principal) OBJ = Complemento objeto de la oración (contexto)​
