What is a Statistical Question?

​A statistical question is one that can be answered by collecting data and where there will be variability in that data. The data must vary, which means it cannot have a determined answer.

Making a Survey Example

Satistical Question: How tall are the students in my class in feet and inches?

That would be your question, but when you do a survey, you would ask the question: How tall are you in feet and inches?
