Adalah ungkapan yang digunakan ketika mau bertanya tentang kejadian/kegiatan yang dilakukan pada waktu lampau​. Untuk menanyakan suatu kejadian/kegiatan maka kita bisa menggunakan SIMPLE PAST TENSE dan bisa menambahkan dengan 5W1H yaitu What, Where, When, Who, Why dan How.
