When all of the elements in a work look as though they belong together it is known as unity. Examples of unity might be colors that are close to one another in terms of hue or chroma, or recurring shapes, or textures that mimic one another.

Botero creates unity in THE MUSICIANS (c 1991) with form, shape, color, line, and space.
