The three Perfect tenses (present, past, future) use a form of the verb have (have/has/had/will have) and the past participle to show a completed action without referring to a specific time.

  • Present Perfect: have/has + past participle

  • Past Perfect: had + past participle

  • Future​ Perfect: will have + past participle
