5

How to find the Quartiles?

  1. Line the numbers up in numerical order.

  2. Find the Median (Q2)

    1. This splits the data set into halves.

  3. The lower quartile (Q1) is the median of the lower half.

  4. The upper quartile (Q3) is the median of the upper half.

Ex. 28, 29, 12, 13, 4, 5, 9, 11, 12
